A couple of my friends got married a few months ago. The guy is sounds like a televangelist when he’s talking about marriage. He’s always claiming stepping out of the game is the best move he’s ever made, yet I can see the terrible longing in his eyes when I describe my adventures.

Yohami,
I’ve never been one to believe marriage is a death trap, but I’ve had to admit recently that the majority of men I talk to about their marriages are unhappy with the decision to marry.
Now without a doubt some of those are grass-is-greener situations where they are tantalized by whatever life they don’t have, but that leaves a lot of men legitimately disappointed. The most frequent criticism I hear from them is not a plaintive “it sucks so bad” but a pragmatic “it’s just not worth the benefit.”
